Meet the Team

Mr. Robinson, a native of Union, South Carolina, holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wofford College. He resides in Spartanburg with his wife and son. He also has daughter, son-in-law, and four grandchildren. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Robinson became partner with the firm in 2002.

Mr. Robinson completed Leadership Spartanburg in 2006. He is currently the treasurer for Mobile Meals, EMERGE, and Chairman of Chapman Cultural Center Board.  He was the former President of North River Hills Homeowners Association, former board member of Salvation Army Advisory Board, former treasurer of Boiling Springs Youth Athletic Association, former board member of Partner for Active Living and former treasurer of Upstate Family Resource Center, and former board member of SCACPA Educational Fund. Prior to joining the firm, he served as grants administrator for Spartanburg County and worked as a management accountant in private industry. He obtained his certified public accountant designation in December 1999. 

Mr. Gosnell began his career with Ernst & Young, serving clients in both the public and private sectors. Throughout his tenure, he rose to the rank of senior manager. In 1986, Mr. Gosnell acquired the firm of Waters & Waters (now Gosnell Menard Robinson Infante) in Spartanburg, S. C., a firm established in 1951. 

In addition to his accounting, tax and advisory services, Mr. Gosnell  significantly participates in other businesses as an owner including retail automotive, automotive accessories leasing & retail, consumer and commercial lending & credit lines, residential and commercial real estate development and construction, various internet based & digital platform businesses, among others. 

Mr. Gosnell holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He resides in Spartanburg with his wife, Elaine and has five children. Mr. Gosnell has served on many civic and charitable organization boards during his career including the USC Upstate Foundation & Mobile Meals of Spartanburg County.  He is currently member of The Board of Trustees of Spartanburg Day School, a member of the Spartanburg Downtown Rotary Club, Spartanburg Estate Planning Council, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Division of the AICPA. 

Mr. Gosnell is an active tennis player and occasional golfer at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

Mrs. Hightower is a licensed CPA, originally from the mountains of North Carolina. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She moved to Spartanburg 14 years ago to take a position at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, where she most recently served as a Tax Manager specializing in the Construction Industry. After 8 years in public accounting she took a position with Converse College as an Assistant Professor of Accounting. She served in that position for 3 years before deciding she wanted to come back to public accounting and transitioned to GMRI.

Mrs. Hightower successfully completed leadership Spartanburg. She is a member of South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A certified public accountant since 2010, Mrs. Dawkins began her career with Ernst & Young in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2008. After two years of experience she relocated to Spartanburg, South Carolina and joined Dixon Hughes Goodman where she worked for six years and served as Tax Manager. Mrs. Dawkins joined our firm in 2016.

Mrs. Dawkins, a native of Spartanburg, holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Upstate. She obtained a Master’s degree in Accountancy with a focus in Taxation from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the Spartanburg Downtown Rotary Club, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

A certified public accountant since 2000, Mrs. Infante began her career in the private sector. Throughout her nine-year tenure, she rose to the ranks of supervisor, office manager, and controller.

Mrs. Infante, a native of Spartanburg, holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She resides in Spartanburg with her husband, Michael and daughter Ava. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Mata, a native of Spartanburg, holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Wofford College. She obtained a Master’s degree in Accountancy from Clemson University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

She obtained her public accountant designation in August 2016.

A certified public accountant since 1981, Mr. Menard began his career with Gamble, Humphries, Givens & Moody CPA’s while attending the College of Charleston. Mr. Menard, a native of Charleston, S.C., his wife Vickie, and their daughter Michelle moved to the Spartanburg area in 1986. 

Mr. Menard earned a BA in business Administratin from the College of Charleston and his Masters of Professional Accountancy from Clemson University.

Mr. Menard has served on many civic and charitable organizaiotns durin ghis career including leadership Spartanburg. Mobile Meals, The Arts Partnership, the Boys & Girls Club of the Upstate, Country Club of Spartanburg, the East Spartanburg Rotary Club.  He is a member of the American Institure of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), South Carolina Association of Public Accountants, the Spartanburg Estate Planning Council.

Ms. Catafygiotu, a native of Greer, SC, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2005) and a Master’s degree in Accountancy with focus in Taxation (2006). She was a member of the USC Women’s golf team from 2001-2005 (Go Gamecocks!).  Tiffany began her career with Ernst & Young in Greenville, SC in 2006. She left EY to work for a smaller firm, Jeter Lloyd Benjamson & Booth CPAs, in Greer from 2009-2022.  Ms. Catafygiotu joined our firm in December 2022.

She obtained her certified public accountant designation in June 2010, and she is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
